A few years ago, I was awarded a research grant to set up a network which I called ‘Claimed from Stationers’ Hall’, looking at historical legal deposit of music in British copyright libraries.
My research has moved on since then, but the bibliography that I built up may be useful to other people researching legal deposit. There are items of general interest, before the references to music copyright as such. It’s all on a page of this blog.
